Robert French
Robert left school at sixteen and joined the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust where he secured a placement working as a trainee in a multi disciplinary firm based in South East London. Between 1998 and 2002 he completed a part time ONC and HNC at Bexley College. He then moved to Martin Associates and studied part time for his degree in Building Surveying at Greenwich University which he obtained in 2005. He then went on to become a Chartered Building Surveyor in 2006.
Robert joined Daniel Connal Partnership in 2008 and was made an Associate in January 2009.
Robert is currently joint Chair of the London Matrics University Liaison Committee. In this role he attends London university partnership meetings. He also presents to university and school students on the benefits of becoming a member of the RICS and generally attempts to help raise the profile of the Surveying Profession.
In addition to his directorship of the Trust, Robert is a Freeman of the City Of London and Liveryman of the Worshipful Company Of Chartered Surveyors. Robert is looking to extend his work promoting the surveying profession through the connections the Livery Company provides.
