Training Programme
The Trust provides Advanced Apprenticeships in the main fields of surveying.
Namely, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and General Practice. Opportunities are located in London and the South East.
All Trust trainees follow a work based learning programme; 4 days per week they are based with an employer and 1 day per week they attend college gaining technical knowledge. During college holidays, trainees are full time employees.
An Award winning programme
In 2007 and 2005, the Chartered Surveyors Training Trust was officially recognised as the Best Training Initiative in the QS News Awards.

Educational support
Educational support and guidance is at the core of the Trust’s programme with training centred on a work based learning format. Trust trainees are supported in their training with dedicated tutoring and guidance from qualified surveying professionals, which is supplemented by regular reviews with the Trust & employer.
Ian Phillips, one of the Trust’s NVQ assessors explains how he supports the trainee in the workplace.
