This is an exciting career opportunity for a forward thinking trainee that wants to work in the attractive cathedral city of Canterbury and join an experienced team of 5 chartered valuation surveyors.
We are seeking a young person ideally with a couple of years of work experience with proven office skills and potential to progress through apprenticeship to degree level and APC.
Skills Required
Must be capable of dealing with the general public and other council departments in an efficient and courteous manner.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and electronic mail (Essential)
- Typing skills and letter writing (Essential)
- Some familiarity with general property matters (Desirable)
- Office systems (Desirable)
- Experience working within a team environment, ideally where office skills are required
Qualifications Required
- To be eligible for this apprenticeship you:
- Will have a broadly based education with GCSE Grade A-C passes in Mathematics and English (or equivalent) and two A levels or 40 UCAS points
- Must be eligible to live, work and remain in England
- Must be aged 16-24
- Must have a strong interest in Valuation Surveying
- Must demonstrate the need for support from the CSTT to help in accessing the surveying profession

Canterbury City Council are offering a competitive starting salary of up to £16,924 for the successful candidate. This is dependent upon the candidate being able to demonstrate they match the required competencies for this post.
