How do I apply?

You need to apply through the apprenticeship website . We usually start advertising in February/March each year to commence in September, for the level 6 there are two entry dates September and March.

What are the entry requirements?

To start the Level 3 programme you will need at least 5 GCSEs which should include both Maths and English at a C and above.

Do I need experience?

No, you just need the passion to learn and keen to join this industry.

What qualifications will I gain?

At level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship – Surveying Technician you will be required to do the Surveying Technician Diploma. This will be 6 modules studied over a 2 year period.   You will also be required to gain your Associate RICS, a professional qualification. Once you have these you will have completed you apprenticeship at Level 3 and will be able to study for the Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.

Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship – Chartered Surveying. You will need to gain the degree in your chosen pathway which will take 4 years. In addition to completing the university work, the last 2 years of the apprenticeship will be to work towards achieving APC status on completion of the degree. Once you have completed both of these elements you will have passed your apprenticeship and be a fully qualified Surveyor

How will I be learning for the apprenticeship?

You will be learning with our Partner, University College of Estate Management with both the Level 3 and Level 6.   This is online learning but with monthly workshops in Tutor lead sessions. You will be allocated an Apprenticeship Co-ordinator during your apprenticeship and is there to support and coach you through this process.

I have an employer, how do I enrol on to an apprenticeship?

The employer will need to contact CSTT directly, by phone or email, and we will be able to start the process.

What happens after an apprenticeship?

A high percentage of our students are offered a permanent contract with their existing employer. If not you will have the necessary qualifications to find that permanent position.
