It is with great delight that we can report that Antonia Belcher, one of our long serving and committed trustees has been awarded OBE Honour from Her Majesty.
The CSTT was established in
order to support people from diverse backgrounds into the Surveying Profession,
and we continue to work to create awareness of the Built Environment Sector as
a career destination for people from all backgrounds.
It is with great delight that
we can report that Antonia Belcher, one of our long serving and committed
trustees a woman, who is Trans, has been awarded OBE Honour from Her Majesty,
on the occasion of HRH 2022 Birthday Honours, and in the year of Her Majesty’s
Platinum Jubilee. This OBE is awarded for Services to Equality in Business,
based on her Trans advocacy.
In
accepting the honour Antonia thanked her Majesty, and her very inclusive family
and allies who, Antonia said, “have in equal and meaningful ways been part of
this Honour now bestowed upon me”.
